2021-2022 Pui Kiu College
Notes for Grade 1 Application

1. Pui Kiu College accepts applications from all regions in Hong Kong. Any child born on or before 31 December 2015 and eligible for attending schools in Hong Kong may apply for admission.
2. The number of Grade 1 places available is 164 for the 2021-2022 school year.
3. The tuition fee for Grade 1 is HKD25,300 per annum in 2020-2021 school year, payable in 10 installments. [Subject to future revision]
4. Admission seminars will be held on 5 September 2020. Enrollment for the admission seminars will begin on 12 August 2020 (after 9 a.m.) and will close when the quota is full. For further information, please refer to our school website (https://www.puikiucollege.edu.hk).
5. Grade 1 application period starts from 20 July 2020 and ends on 14 September 2020. Parents are required to apply online by completing the application form on our website. Upon confirmation of your application, applicants will be invited to attend an interview on 17 or 18 October 2020.
6. Parents may login our online application system during the period from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 28 and 29 September 2020 to select an interview time slot. For applicants who do not make their selection, he / she will be assigned an interview time slot by our school.
7. Application Fee :
   The application fee is HK$50. Parents are required to pay the application fee with Visa / Master (PayPal) on our online application system. Please note that:
   • The application fee is non-refundable.
8. All personal data provided in the application form will be handled by relevant staff of our school. The data will be kept confidential.
9. The personal data provided by unsuccessful applicants will be destroyed afterwards.
10. Criteria for G1 Admission:
    Interview performance: 90%
    Extra-curricular activities: 10%
11. Admitted students who have signed the “Place Acceptance Letter” will not be allocated any Primary One places through the Primary One Admission System of the Education Bureau.
12. A “School Fee Remission Scheme” has been put in place for needy students to ensure that no qualified students will be deprived of receiving education in our school. For details, please refer to the school website.
